FREE SHIPPING EXCEPTIONS:

Free shipping is not able to be offered in the following cases:

• Overweight Order: If the total weight of the order exceeds 120lbs or requires a freight carrier.
• Dangerous Goods: If an item is classified as a Dangerous Good (E.G Aerosols or Paints) it is not eligible for free shipping. These items are also not able to be shipped via Air.
• Heavy Item: Your order contains a single item weighing 40 lbs. or greater.
• Oversized Item: Single dimension 4' or greater. Or overall piece size greater then 130" (calculated L+2W+2H).
• Unfortunately, individual items weighing 40+ pounds as well as oversized items are excluded from our free shipping policy. Even so, we can offer excellent freight rates to destinations across Canada. Heavy or Oversize items and orders will still be eligible for subsidized shipping. Construction Fasteners and Tools reserves the right to exclude items from the free shipping policy.

PLEASE NOTE:

Orders with a value of $400 or greater are shipped with Signature Required for delivery unless requested otherwise. If you request delivery without a signature or have an existing Signature Not Required agreement in place with the carrier you assume all risk for lost or damaged shipments. We will be unable to make a claim on your behalf and may not replace lost/damaged goods.

If you provide a Cellular Phone number with your contact information you may receive an SMS notification with your tracking information and in transit updates.

SAME DAY SHIPPING:

Any stocked orders are shipped same day, Monday to Friday, if ordered before 2pm CST. Any orders after 2pm CST will be shipped next day. At peak times during holidays and sales, orders may be subject to next day shipping.

MULTIPLE PACKAGE SHIPMENTS:

Although we make every attempt to ship all orders in a timely manner we may be required to ship some orders complete, holding in stock items until all stock is in our warehouse. You will receive an update on your order after it is placed with your number of shipments and expected leadtimes.

Orders including free or heavily discounted items are more likely to be sent in one complete shipment.

If an order qualifies for Free Shipping but it is requested we make multiple shipments that fall under our Free Shipping cut-off ($99) it may be necessary to request the customer pay freight for additional shipments. Customers will always be contacted regarding additional costs before payment is taken.

DELIVERY ADDRESS ACCURACY:

In order to ship your package, we require a complete street address with postal code to ensure that you get prompt delivery. We are not responsible for shipments that are delayed, lost, or misdirected due to an inaccurate address being provided. Construction Fasteners and Tools will not be responsible if additional shipping charges are accrued because of incorrect or incomplete addresses. If a problem with a shipping address is discovered, we will attempt to contact you and correct the problem however it is ultimately your responsibility to provide us with accurate information.

OUR FREE SHIPPING OFFER APPLIES TO MOST LOCATIONS IN CANADA EXCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

The Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, any island location as well as any other destination requiring ocean or air freight service in any province or territory. This policy also excludes all locations in Canada deemed as “remote” by Canada Post or Purolator. In the extremely unlikely event that excessive freight rates are charged or quoted by our couriers for any other reason not stated in this policy, Construction Fasteners and Tools reserves the right to exempt that shipment from this policy. In all instances you will be contacted before your order ships to notify you of any extra freight charges not charged at the time of order. At that time you can either approve or cancel your order if you wish.
