Refund / Return Policy
Any potential return must be initiated within 30 days from date of purchase. Orders past this 30 day window can not be returned or exchanged.
Any return must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization (RGA). To receive approval and your RGA please contact us by phone at 866-238-8880 or Contact Us Here.
The item(s) returned on the RGA must be unused and in its original packaging.
Special Order (non-stock items) are not subject to return.

The customer is responsible for return freight charges. We are happy to arrange the return shipment on your behalf using our carrier at reduced rates. Please note that the freight charge would be deducted from your refund in this case.
Should the return be the result of our error or a defective product Construction Fasteners will cover the cost of the return freight.
Construction Fasteners reserves the right to charge a restocking fee on any returned item.
Once the returned package is received the item(s) will be inspected for damage or misuse. If the product is determined to be in new condition the refund will be processed at that time. Please note that original shipping charges are not subject to refund. If damage is present a portion of the refund will be withheld.
The vendor/manufacturer warranty applies in all events as the primary warranty. Any secondary warranty is at the discretion of Construction Fasteners & Tools Ltd.

FREE SHIPPING EXCEPTIONS:
Free shipping is not able to be offered in the following cases:
- Overweight Order: If the total weight of the order exceeds 120lbs or requires a freight carrier.
- Dangerous Goods: If an item is classified as a Dangerous Good (E.G Aerosols or Paints) it is not eligible for free shipping. These items are also not able to be shipped via Air.
- Heavy Item: Your order contains a single item weighing 40 lbs. or greater.
- Oversized Item: Single dimension 4' or greater. Or overall piece size greater then 130" (calculated L+2W+2H).
- Unfortunately, individual items weighing 40+ pounds as well as oversized items are excluded from our free shipping policy. Even so, we can offer excellent freight rates to destinations across Canada. Heavy or Oversize items and orders will still be eligible for subsidized shipping. Construction Fasteners and Tools reserves the right to exclude items from the free shipping policy.
PLEASE NOTE:
Orders with a value of $400 or greater are shipped with Signature Required for delivery unless requested otherwise. If you request delivery without a signature or have an existing Signature Not Required agreement in place with the carrier you assume all risk for lost or damaged shipments. We will be unable to make a claim on your behalf and may not replace lost/damaged goods.
If you provide a Cellular Phone number with your contact information you may receive an SMS notification with your tracking information and in transit updates.
SAME DAY SHIPPING:
Any stocked orders are shipped same day, Monday to Friday, if ordered before 2pm CST. Any orders after 2pm CST will be shipped next day. At peak times during holidays and sales, orders may be subject to next day shipping.
MULTIPLE PACKAGE SHIPMENTS:
Although we make every attempt to ship all orders in a timely manner we may be required to ship some orders complete, holding in stock items until all stock is in our warehouse. You will receive an update on your order after it is placed with your number of shipments and expected leadtimes.
Orders including free or heavily discounted items are more likely to be sent in one complete shipment.
If an order qualifies for Free Shipping but it is requested we make multiple shipments that fall under our Free Shipping cut-off ($149) it may be necessary to request the customer pay freight for additional shipments. Customers will always be contacted regarding additional costs before payment is taken.
DELIVERY ADDRESS ACCURACY:
In order to ship your package, we require a complete street address with postal code to ensure that you get prompt delivery. We are not responsible for shipments that are delayed, lost, or misdirected due to an inaccurate address being provided. Construction Fasteners and Tools will not be responsible if additional shipping charges are accrued because of incorrect or incomplete addresses. If a problem with a shipping address is discovered, we will attempt to contact you and correct the problem however it is ultimately your responsibility to provide us with accurate information.
OUR FREE SHIPPING OFFER APPLIES TO MOST LOCATIONS IN CANADA EXCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
The Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, any island location as well as any other destination requiring ocean or air freight service in any province or territory. This policy also excludes all locations in Canada deemed as “remote” by Canada Post or Purolator. In the extremely unlikely event that excessive freight rates are charged or quoted by our couriers for any other reason not stated in this policy, Construction Fasteners and Tools reserves the right to exempt that shipment from this policy. In all instances you will be contacted before your order ships to notify you of any extra freight charges not charged at the time of order. At that time you can either approve or cancel your order if you wish.

Q: How does the Nitrogen Gas Spring Mechanism function?
A: This mechanism is very similar to pneumatics. The pressure in the tank is used to drive the piston/striker, and thus the nail into material
Q: Does a user need to re-fill the nitrogen in the tank? Do they have to worry about it leaking?
A: There is no requirement to re-fill the nitrogen. It is a completely sealed system, meaning it should not lose tank pressure over time. If a leak was to occur it would be covered under our 3 year manufacturers warranty
Q: Will users have to replace any parts over the life of the tool?
A: Yes, normal nailer wear items will have to be replaced periodically over the life of the tool, similar to all pneumatics. This includes items like the striker, piston & seals, and lifter components (mechanism that picks striker up to back of the tank)
Q: Can a user replace any components of the tool on their own?
A: Unlike pneumatics, the M18 Framing Nailers are not intended to be serviced by users. Any service of internal components will require the tool to be sent in for service External components such as magazines, contact bracket, and belt/rafter hooks are user serviceable and will have service parts available
Q: Do the M18 Framing Nailers accept all brand nails, or do we suggest specific brands?
A: The nailer will accept all brand nails that meet the length, diameter, and head style specifications We suggest to use high quality nails to minimize any potential for jams or nail feeding issues
Q: If the nail striker / driving pin gets jammed can a user reset it?
A: Yes Jammed strikers can be reset by following the steps below: 1. Remove battery from tool and nails from magazine 2. Re-insert battery and pull magazine nail pusher down, allowing you to dry fire the tool 3. Turn tool on and dry fire tool against piece of scrap material You should hear a ratchetting sound. That is the tool resetting the striker
