Refund / Return Policy
Any potential return must be initiated within 30 days from date of purchase. Orders past this 30 day window can not be returned or exchanged.
Any return must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization (RGA). To receive approval and your RGA please contact us by phone at 866-238-8880 or Contact Us Here.
The item(s) returned on the RGA must be unused and in its original packaging.
Special Order (non-stock items) are not subject to return.

The customer is responsible for return freight charges. We are happy to arrange the return shipment on your behalf using our carrier at reduced rates. Please note that the freight charge would be deducted from your refund in this case.
Should the return be the result of our error or a defective product Construction Fasteners will cover the cost of the return freight.
Construction Fasteners reserves the right to charge a restocking fee on any returned item.
Once the returned package is received the item(s) will be inspected for damage or misuse. If the product is determined to be in new condition the refund will be processed at that time. Please note that original shipping charges are not subject to refund. If damage is present a portion of the refund will be withheld.
The vendor/manufacturer warranty applies in all events as the primary warranty. Any secondary warranty is at the discretion of Construction Fasteners & Tools Ltd.

Free shipping is not able to be offered in the following cases:
- Overweight Order: If the total weight of the order exceeds 120lbs or requires a freight carrier.
- Dangerous Goods: If an item is classified as a Dangerous Good (E.G Aerosols or Paints) it is not eligible for free shipping. These items are also not able to be shipped via Air.
- Heavy Item: Your order contains a single item weighing 40 lbs. or greater.
- Oversized Item: Single dimension 4' or greater. Or overall piece size greater then 130" (calculated L+2W+2H).
- Unfortunately, individual items weighing 40+ pounds as well as oversized items are excluded from our free shipping policy. Even so, we can offer excellent freight rates to destinations across Canada. Heavy or Oversize items and orders will still be eligible for subsidized shipping. Construction Fasteners and Tools reserves the right to exclude items from the free shipping policy.
PLEASE NOTE:
Orders with a value of $400 or greater are shipped with Signature Required for delivery unless requested otherwise. If you request delivery without a signature or have an existing Signature Not Required agreement in place with the carrier you assume all risk for lost or damaged shipments. We will be unable to make a claim on your behalf and may not replace lost/damaged goods.

SAME DAY SHIPPING:
Any stocked orders are shipped same day, Monday to Friday, if ordered before 2pm CST. Any orders after 2pm CST will be shipped next day. At peak times during holidays and sales, orders may be subject to next day shipping.
MULTIPLE PACKAGE SHIPMENTS:
Although we make every attempt to ship all orders in a timely manner we may be required to ship some orders complete, holding in stock items until all stock is in our warehouse. You will receive an update on your order after it is placed with your number of shipments and expected leadtimes.
Orders including free or heavily discounted items are more likely to be sent in one complete shipment.
If an order qualifies for Free Shipping but it is requested we make multiple shipments that fall under our Free Shipping cut-off ($99) it may be necessary to request the customer pay freight for additional shipments. Customers will always be contacted regarding additional costs before payment is taken.
DELIVERY ADDRESS ACCURACY:
In order to ship your package, we require a complete street address with postal code to ensure that you get prompt delivery. We are not responsible for shipments that are delayed, lost, or misdirected due to an inaccurate address being provided. Construction Fasteners and Tools will not be responsible if additional shipping charges are accrued because of incorrect or incomplete addresses. If a problem with a shipping address is discovered, we will attempt to contact you and correct the problem however it is ultimately your responsibility to provide us with accurate information.

Q: Are Milwaukee® Jaws Compatible with other brands of 6T crimpers?
A: No, all 6T Jaws are proprietary to their manufacturers tool. There is no compatibility amongst brands.
Q: Are Milwaukee® Jaws Compatible with other brands of "W" Style Dies?
A: YES, "W" style dies are interchangeable amongst brands of tools.
Q: Why are 6T Utility Crimpers Compatible with Cutting Heads but not the other way?
A: FORCE LOGIC™ 6T Utility Crimpers are equipped with PFM™ Technology which delivers the single most accurate and consistent crimping, cutters are not equipped with this technology so while they function similarly they don't have force indication and record keeping capabilities. This keeps the price down for those looking for a cutting only solution.
Q: Where is the reverse button?
A: FORCE LOGIC™ 6T Utility Crimpers automatically open at the end of the crimp cycle. If someone begins to crimp something they did not intended to, the manual relief is on the back of the handle.
Q: Why isn't the battery on the bottom of the tool so it can stand?
A: The FORCE LOGIC™ Crimpers are fully balanced with the battery in its current location. It is also a safety issue, it forces the user to remove the battery in order to stand up the tool to change dies or jaws safely.
Q: Why do these come with compact 2.0 batteries?
A: The tool is fully balanced with a 2.0 pack and hydraulics are a highly efficient mechanism. Lineman can make 280 crimps on 3/0 Al Splices on a charge. If you want more run-time you can use 4.0 and 5.0 packs.
Q: What is the purpose of the internal battery? How long does it last?
A: The Internal Battery is responsible for maintaining accurate date and time information when an M18™ pack is not on the tool. It will last approximately 3 years, if an M18™ battery is never on the tool. With normal tool usage patterns it should last well beyond 5 years. Internal tool batteries can be replaced through e-service.
Q: What is the Kearney Jaw? Who Uses It?
A: The Kearney Jaw accepts Kearney Style dies. This is a legacy product and some companies in the SE still utilize this platform.
Q: Does this tool work in a High Voltage Environment?
A: Yes, this product works in a High Voltage Environment. It has been tested in both lab and field environments.
Q: Is this tool a 30-day satisfaction guarantee tool?
A: No, to prevent misuse of this tool as a rented product, this tool will be repair only.
Q: Is there a warranty on Jaws?
A: Jaws are considered an accessory and do not carry a warranty.
